Gà Nướng Sả
Ingredients
- 4 chicken thighs
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 lemongrass stem, minced or food processed
- 2 tbsp of fish sauce
- 1 tbsp of sugar
- 1 medium shallot, minced
- 2 tbsp of neutral oil
- 2 tsp of black pepper, freshly cracked is best
Steps
Chicken Marinade
- Chop/mince or food process garlic, lemongrass, shallot
- Place all the above into a bowl with sugar, fish sauce, black pepper, and oil and stir together
- Add in chicken and coat the chicken in the marinade
- Marinate for 30 minutes, or up to 6 hours
Cooking the chicken in an oven
- Bake the chicken in the oven for 30-40 minutes at 400 degrees.
- Use a thermometer for an internal temperature of 165 degrees OR stab into the chicken to see if the juices are clear
Cooking the chicken in an air fryer
- Bake the chicken in the air fryer for 16 minutes at 400 degrees.
- Use a thermometer for an internal temperature of 165 degrees OR stab into the chicken to see if the juices are clear
